RULES OF THE HUNT
These rules apply to every participant.
1. Public Locations Only
The Golden Dachshund is hidden in a publicly accessible location within the Townsville region.
2. No Trespassing
Do not enter private property without the owner's permission.
3. Safety
Do not dig, enter water, climb fences, trees, roofs, or structures, enter construction sites, cross barriers or warning signs, enter restricted areas, place yourself or others at risk
Obey all laws, regulations, council requirements, and directions from police or other authorities.
Do not damage property, disturb businesses or residents, harm wildlife, or interfere with public facilities.
4. Active Subscription Required
An active Frankie & Koda subscription is required to receive clues or any other details and claim the prize.
5. Finding the Golden Dachshund
If you find the Golden Dachshund you must:
- Take a clear photo showing the Golden Dachshund in your possession.
- Contact Frankie & Koda immediately using the official contact details provided.
- Provide any information requested for verification.
6. Keep the Location Secret
Do not share the location of the Golden Dachshund until Frankie & Koda officially announces the winner.
7. First Valid Claim Wins
The first verified eligible participant to submit a valid claim wins the advertised prize.
8. Disqualification
Participants who break these rules are disqualified from the hunt and prize claim.
RACE TO THE DASH
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
Race to the Dash is conducted by Frankie & Koda Publishing Co ("Frankie & Koda").
2. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins at 6:00pm AEST on 6 April 2026 and continues until a verified winner is confirmed or the Promotion is ended by Frankie & Koda.
3. Eligibility
Participation is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who hold an active Frankie & Koda subscription. By participating, entrants agree to comply with the Rules of the Hunt and these Terms and Conditions.
Employees, contractors, immediate family members and any person directly involved in operating or administering the Promotion are not eligible to participate.
4. Clues
Clues will be distributed through official Frankie & Koda communication channels, including email, subscriber platforms, social media and the Frankie & Koda website.
Frankie & Koda can release additional clues, bonus clues, corrections or updates throughout the Promotion. The timing, frequency, format and content of clues can change during the Promotion.
5. Prize
The prize value will be published on Frankie & Koda promotional materials and official communication channels.
Where Frankie & Koda announces a prize increase linked to subscriber numbers or promotional milestones, the increased prize amount applies only if the milestone is achieved before a valid winning claim has been verified.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for any alternative benefit except where required by law.
6. Winner Verification
Before a prize is awarded, Frankie & Koda will verify the winning claim. Verification can include confirmation of identity, age, subscription status and evidence that the participant located Dash.
If a claim cannot be satisfactorily verified, it will be rejected and the hunt will continue until a valid winner is confirmed.
Where multiple claims are received, the first valid verified claim received by Frankie & Koda will be declared the winner. All verification decisions made by Frankie & Koda are final.
7. Safety and Responsibility
Participation in the Promotion is entirely voluntary and occurs at the participant's own risk.
Participants are responsible for their own safety, the safety of any person accompanying them, and for assessing any risks associated with locations they choose to visit while participating in the hunt.
Frankie & Koda does not direct participants to enter unsafe locations, restricted areas or dangerous environments.
8. Privacy
By participating in the Promotion, subscribers consent to Frankie & Koda collecting and using personal information for the administration of the hunt, the distribution of clues and updates, verification of eligibility, prize administration and promotional communications.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
9. Publicity
The winner agrees that Frankie & Koda can publish their first name, suburb, photographs, videos and details relating to their prize win for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Liability
Participation in the Promotion occurs entirely at the participant's own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frankie & Koda, its owners, employees, contractors and representatives accept no liability for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, delay, technical failure or claim arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the prize.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
11. Changes to the Promotion
Frankie & Koda can amend, suspend, postpone, terminate or cancel the Promotion where necessary due to safety concerns, fraud, technical issues, legal requirements or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Any changes will be communicated through official Frankie & Koda communication channels.
12. Disqualification
Frankie & Koda can disqualify any participant who breaches the Rules of the Hunt or these Terms and Conditions, provides false or misleading information, attempts to manipulate the Promotion, acts unlawfully or dishonestly, or engages in conduct that damages the integrity or reputation of the Promotion.
13. Acceptance
Participation in Race to the Dash constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Rules of the Hunt.
